GOrganic clothes are made up with natural dyes and colorants that are extracted from plants, invertebrates, minerals and other natural resources. Though, artificial dyes come in various colours variants, it is extremely harmful for the skin as it is made up of inimical chemical compounds. Some of these disastrous chemicals found in artificial dyes are mercury, lead, chromium, copper, sodium chloride, toluene, and benzene.
We use natural dyes and colours in make our organic cotton clothes just a bit more colourful and cuter. We are not constricting ourselves with only given plain colour options and limited designs. GOrganic, on the other hand is a believer of giving authenticity with bright and bold design patterns for both your baby dolls and handsome hunks.

Process of Making Organic Clothes from Raw Cotton:
Planting and growing: Organic Farming has a key step of doing it in a healthy soil. Soil shall not only be treated as a medium for growing plants but as a living being itself. Farmers take utmost care in making the soil clear and fertile. What makes the soil healthy and productive is the process of composting, efficient nutrient recycling, frequent crop rotations and cover crops replace synthetic fertilizers.
Harvesting: Most of us are unaware of the basic steps related to harvesting. One of the most efficient steps is handpicking. This is the key step to reduce waste. Organic cotton is generally hand-picked, avoiding the use of defoliants, machinery, or chemicals.
Cleaning & Ginning of the cotton ball: Manufacturing cotton fibre into fabric consist of several major processes like cleaning, spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, cutting and assembly, finishing, and cleaning. Before the extraction of cotton fibre from plants, several cleansing steps take place. Then after the process of cotton ginning, the extract is distributed to fibre producers. After a vigorous process yet again, organic cotton is separated from cottonseed. The extracted ginning by-products are even used for animal feed and for human food, mostly in the form of cottonseed oil. In this way, it is also beneficial for animals and insects. Cottonseed oil is a famous ingredient which is seldom used in baked goods and processed foods.
Spinning the cotton fibers to create yarn, this makes it easier to weave.
Weaving or knitting to create bolts of cotton fabric.
Fabric dyeing in organic colours, mineral inks and low-impact dyes
Removing harmful particles, commonly known as GMOs (genetically modified organisms)
Finishing process to create the smooth fabric,
Cutting and sewing of garment for consumers.
The Importance of GOTS Certification for Organic Clothes:
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered as the highest degree of certification when it comes to organic clothing. GOTS only certify brands that make products out of 95% organic cotton. Therefore, brands automatically don’t get verified with GOTS in case of any adulterations in term of fabric, colouring or dyeing.
